Synopsis:

Synopsis:
The film is all about marriage. A boy and a girl from two families want to get married, but for twenty years because of differences between their parents either their engagement or their wedding has been put of. The disagreement get more serious and finally the boy and the girl decide to commit suicide. The Pastry Girl full of humour and hilarity is Iraj Tahmasb's third long film.

Synopsis:

Country girl Fereshteh and city girl Roya, schoolmates at Tehran University in the early ‘80's become friends when the former tutors the latter to pay her way through architectural school. Their friendship and innocent fun are clouded only by the presence of a young man who stalks the pretty Freshteh, demanding she marry him. She brushes him off and the girls feel strong enough to disregard his advances, until one day he throws a bottle of acid at Freshteh's cousin, mistaking him for her boyfriend.
